About Me
My name is Janet Hernandez, proud owner and creator behind Mis Chingaderas. I’m currently based in Arizona, but my roots run deep in East Side Oakland, California – the Bay Area raised me, and that grit and culture live through every piece I create.
Mis Chingaderas began in December 2017, when I started crafting paper flowers and headpieces. What started as a personal creative outlet after the passing of my apá has grown into a meaningful business that now includes custom resin pieces and handmade goods for all my raza. Every item I make is crafted with intention, love, and pride in our cultura.
I’m a proud wife and madre of three, and I’m endlessly grateful to my community for the support and love you’ve shown. This journey has been a blessing, and it’s because of you that I get to keep doing what I love.
